Bad cholesterol and the clogging of arteries with deposits are often silent killers. At first they lead to high blood pressure, and later they can trigger a heart attack or stroke. You should start caring for your arteries while you are still young, before you suffer any health problems.

5. Garlic
Garlic has been used since ancient times to prevent and treat various health problems. It was mainly used to prevent high blood pressure and heart disease. Today it is also applied in the prevention of arteriosclerosis, which is a sign of the formation of arterial deposits.
6. Tomatoes
Korean researchers found that some components of tomatoes prevent artery thickening. Mainly lycopene, which gives tomatoes their characteristic red color. It was revealed that women with high levels of lycopene in their blood showed lower arterial stiffness.

Omega-3 fatty acids are powerful in preventing the oxidation of bad cholesterol and the formation of blood clots. It is recommended to consume wild-caught fish, which have a higher proportion of omega-3s and lower levels of harmful substances.
