In folk healing it is said: „The golden rules of self-healing, which in some cases work better than medicine!“ It is assumed that all illnesses are to some extent psychosomatic.

This means that to heal you must first heal the mind. It will then guide the body and activate its natural healing powers.

The human body is a very complex system. We don’t even know everything it is capable of. The power of the word and human thought has an incredible healing energy; it is pointless to treat any disease without healing the spirit. To activate the body’s healing power, we must increase the level of inner vitality. Only then will we defeat the disease and restore health!

These simple rules, which will teach you how to value life, will help your body restore health and give your soul happiness and peace. Try them!

18 Golden rules of self-healing

  • 1. In the morning, afternoon and evening drink 0.5 liters of clean water. When you drink, say to yourself: „I am healthy!“
  • 2. Find time for massages. It is enough to rub your body with your hands, pay attention to the head, neck, chest and feet. About 10-15 minutes of such massage a day will stimulate the body and charge you with energy and vitality.
  • 3. Get used to going to bed at 10 PM and getting up with the first rays of the sun. When you go to bed, tell yourself: „Now I am going to the healing land of dreams.“ If you have the opportunity, you can take an afternoon nap, but not more than an hour.
  • 4. Pay attention to your breath. It should be even, free, without resistance, with a feeling of inner joy. Try to exhale 2-3x longer than you inhale. Remember to check your breathing during the day.
  • 5. Make a list of your goals and read them daily. Repeat them often and many times. For example: „I am healing! Healing energy enters me and heals my body. I am open to the flow of healing energy. My liver (head, kidneys) are healthy.“
  • 6. Do not speak about or think about your illness. Simply get it out of your head. If thoughts keep returning to problems, try not to think about anything at all.
  • 7. Take as much fresh air as possible, enjoy contact with the earth, look at the sky and admire the clouds. A good mood and fresh air are the keys to health. If your lifestyle does not allow you to spend a lot of time outdoors, at least look out the window.
  • 8. In the evening listen to relaxing music, in the afternoon to rhythmic music. Dance and sing if you like.
  • 9. Eat little but often (5-6 times a day). The best food is as simple as possible: oatmeal, yogurt, sauerkraut, homemade bread, salads, etc. Avoid drinks such as tea, coffee and alcohol, which constrict the vessels.
  • 10. Try hardening with cold water. Dip your feet for the first days, then a little higher each day, until finally you immerse your head in the water as well. While hardening, imagine healing.
  • 11. Start doing sports. You don’t have to go to the gym, everything you need is at home! Run in place, do squats, planks, exercise with dumbbells. Just be careful not to injure yourself or overexert; you need to physically tire yourself.
  • 12. Fast one day a week. Before and during the fast repeat to yourself: „I will be fine. I will heal!“
  • 13. Have only calm and pleasant conversations with friends and family. The exchange of good, positive energy will improve your health.
  • 14. Remove all channels through which you receive negative information. Think only about what is good. Watch comedies, read pleasant books, listen to favorite songs. No complex and disturbing information – only beautiful and positive emotions!
  • 15. A very strong exercise! Take a short breath and hold it (you can pinch your nose). When you feel a strong urge to inhale, repeat to yourself: „I want to live!“ Then inhale and repeat.
  • 16. Meditate like this: after calming down sit and for 5-10 minutes repeat to yourself: „May everyone be healthy, may everyone be healthy.“ Remember that these thoughts must be sincere and come from a pure heart.
  • 17. Imagine that you are a healthy and happy person every day. Imagine, for example, that in a week you will be happily laughing in a familiar place. Such thoughts will convince your body that this is how it should be.
  • 18. Seek help from the God you believe in. Pray, go to a temple and ask for healing.

If this self-healing practice appealed to you, be sure to read the book LOUISE HAV Heal Your Body.

The author reminds us that we are fully responsible for all events in our lives – for the best and the worst. Her theories date back to the 1980s, before modern medicine began to look for psychosomatic causes of diseases. Today no specialist would dare to question the close relationship between the psyche and physical health.

Don’t forget:

  • Each of our thoughts shapes our future.
  • At the same time the forces of the universe never judge or criticize us. They accept us as we are.
