- Dough preparation: Preheat the oven to 180 °C. In a bowl mix the all-purpose flour, softened butter, cream cheese, sour cream, salt, egg, yolk and baking powder. Work into a smooth and elastic dough. If the dough seems too loose, add a little more flour.
- Rolling and cutting: Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and roll it out to a thickness of about 1-1.5 cm. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated smoked cheese and seeds to taste (sesame, caraway, etc.). Cut the dough into long strips and then into smaller sticks.
- Baking: Place the cut sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the sticks turn golden.
