If you have little time to cook but don’t want to give up homemade food, this chicken goulash recipe is an ideal choice. You can prepare it in advance and have it on hand anytime. This simple method of preparation will delight you and at the same time save you time in everyday cooking.

Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the chicken: Remove the skin from the chicken meat and cut it into larger pieces. Separate the meat from the bones.
  • Seasoning: Place the meat in a large pot, salt and season to taste. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
  • Preparing the jars: Meanwhile prepare jars with a volume of 0,7 dcl. Put 4 pieces of whole spice and 1 bay leaf at the bottom of each jar.
  • Filling the jars: Place the prepared chicken meat into the jars. Cover with foil instead of a lid. Then place the jars in a cold oven and bake at 150 °C for 4,5 hours.
  • Sterilization: Once the jars cool, seal them and sterilize them.
  • Storage: Store the jars of goulash in a cool place. If the meat isn't fatty enough and enough fat doesn't render during baking, you can add a little pork lard.
  • Serving: The chicken goulash is ready for immediate use! Whenever you want to enjoy it, just heat it up and serve it with, for example, potatoes or rice.
