Brought back from vacation, it is now a favorite with all my friends and family. The yogurt sauce with garlic and cheese gives the potatoes an irresistible flavor!

- Preparing the potatoes: Peel the potatoes and slice them into rounds. Lightly salt them and place the first layer on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Yogurt sauce: In a bowl, mix the thick plain yogurt with crushed garlic, salt, pepper, and a little olive oil.
- Layering: Pour some of the yogurt sauce over the layer of potatoes. Add another layer of potatoes and pour sauce over it again. Repeat until you have used all the ingredients. The final layer should be the yogurt sauce.
- Baking: Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in a preheated oven. Bake at 170 °C for 50 minutes.
- Finishing: After 50 minutes remove the foil, sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese and increase the oven temperature to 200 °C. Bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden.
- Serving: Let the yogurt potatoes cool for a moment and serve.
