Preparation procedure

  • Batter: Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until thick and frothy. Gradually pour in the milk and oil. Finally add the cocoa, baking powder and flour. Mix until a smooth batter forms. Pour it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and evenly spread the pitted cherries. Bake in an oven preheated to 170 °C for about 30 minutes. While still warm, evenly drizzle the baked base with cherry juice and let it cool completely.
