  • Adding the egg Add the egg and beat briefly until combined.
  • Adding the starch and flour Gradually sift the corn starch into the butter mixture and then the all-purpose flour. Gently mix until a smooth, non-sticky dough forms.
  • Shaping the cookies Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a small plain tip. Pipe delicate cookies—swirls or rounds about 3–4 cm in diameter—onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
