- Wash the peppers and remove their seeds.
- Dip them for 2 minutes in boiling water, then place them into cold water and peel them.
- Arrange them side by side in sterilized jars.
- Dissolve the sugar, salt and citric acid in the water, bring to a boil.
- Pour the hot brine over the peppers, cover the jars with a lid and let sterilize for 20 minutes (3-liter jars – 25 minutes).
- Turn them upside down, wrap in a cloth and let cool completely
