  • Preparation of the plums: Thoroughly wash the plums and halve them. Place them into clean canning jars. Don't be afraid to press them into the jar, because they will shrink during canning. After taking them out they should be filled approximately to ¾ of the jar.
  • Canning: Close the jars well and place them in the canning pot. Add water to the pot and turn on the heat. Put a thermometer into the water. Leave the plums in the pot until the temperature rises to 100 degrees Celsius.
  • Cooling and storage: After reaching 100 degrees, turn off the heat and let the jars cool in the pot. After cooling, remove the jars and store them like any other preserves.
