This simple dish will be loved by you and the whole family – served with fluffy white rice it will be a hit even for the most demanding diners.

Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the rice: Rinse the rice in cold water. Bring salted water to a boil, add the rice and cook according to package instructions (usually 15–20 minutes), until tender.
  • Sautéing the onion and meat: Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the onion cut into cubes until golden. Add the chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and fry on all sides.
  • Seasoning and braising: Sprinkle the chicken with the Krakonošovo koření mix (or chicken seasoning), pour in the soy sauce and stir briefly. Add the sliced pepper and leek, pour in a little water or stock, cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes, until the vegetables soften.
  • Thickening and finishing the flavor: Pour the dissolved starch into the pan, mix well so the sauce thickens. Stir in the chopped garlic, then remove from the heat after a moment.
  • Serving: Serve a portion of rice on a plate with the chicken mix beside it. Serve immediately, ideally garnished with fresh herbs or spring onions.
