- Clean, wash, pat dry the chicken and cut it into strips. Add all the ingredients needed for the marinade and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. You can also marinate the meat this way overnight.
- Finely chop the onion and fry it in hot oil in a pan until golden. Add the carrot grated on a coarse grater, add the meat and sauté over low heat. Sprinkle a tablespoon of all-purpose flour and sauté briefly.
- Then pour hot water over the meat, add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer and finally add the sour cream mixed with a tablespoon of flour, the mustard, and cook everything together for another 1 minute so the sauce reduces. As a side dish you can serve rice or classic mashed potatoes.
