Ingredients: 2 tablespoons cocoa; 2 tablespoons honey; 2 eggs; 200 g powdered sugar; 50 g butter; 1 baking powder; 400 g all-purpose flour; 2 packets vanilla pudding mix; 600 ml milk; 250 g butter; 200 g powdered sugar; 1 packet vanilla sugar; 100 g dark chocolate; 2 tablespoons sunflower oil

Dough preparation: In a bowl, mix the cocoa, eggs, sugar, honey, melted butter and baking powder. Gradually add the flour and work into a smooth, semi-liquid batter without lumps.

Baking the layers: Divide the batter into three parts. Pour each onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake one after the other in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 8–10 minutes. Let the cake layers cool.

Preparing the vanilla cream: Bring the milk with the sugar to a boil in a saucepan. In the remaining milk, whisk the pudding powders and pour into the boiling mixture. Cook until thickened. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla sugar and butter, stir and let cool.

Assembling the medovník: Spread a layer of vanilla cream on the first layer, top with the second layer, spread cream again and finish with the third layer. Pour the chocolate glaze made from melted chocolate and oil over the surface.
