Preparation procedure
- Dough preparation: Mix all ingredients together – the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, grated coconut, butter, cream and eggs. Mix the dough well and form a smooth mass. Then wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest overnight in the refrigerator. This step is important for a better dough consistency.
- Shaping the pracny: After the dough has rested, divide it into smaller pieces. Roll each piece into a "snake" and cut it into small pieces, which you then press into pracny molds. The molds do not need to be greased; the dough will release from them nicely.
- Baking: Preheat the oven to 160°C and bake the pracny for about 10 minutes, until they turn golden. Bake them according to the size of the molds so they are lightly browned.
- Coating: After baking, let the pracny cool for a moment and while still warm, coat them in a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Let them rest: We recommend preparing these pracny in advance so they can rest and develop the best flavor. If you leave them for at least 2–3 days, they will be even tastier.
