Preparation procedure
- Preparing the batter: In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking soda). In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients (oil, water, and vinegar). Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ones and mix thoroughly until a smooth batter forms. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
- Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 25 minutes. To be sure, check doneness with a skewer.
- Preparing the cream: In the meantime, whip the cream with the stabilizer and mix it with the sour cream and vanilla sugar. Spread this cream over the cooled baked cake base.
- Decoration: Finally, sprinkle the cake with grated chocolate. You can let it chill in the fridge, but it's also excellent served immediately.
