Creamy, chocolatey and ready in no time. This simple no-bake dessert of quark, cream and chocolate can be made even at the last minute. It’s great after lunch, with afternoon coffee, or as a festive mini dessert in little glasses.

Preparation procedure

  • Melting the chocolate Chop the chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie or briefly in the microwave (15–20 s intervals, stirring each time) until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  • Whipping the cream Whip the cream to stiff peaks.
  • Quark base In a bowl, mix the quark with the sugar (and vanilla). Add the warm melted chocolate and mix thoroughly until smooth.
  • Lightening and filling Gently fold the whipped cream in with a rubber spatula. Divide the cream into 4 glasses or bowls, smooth the surface.
  • Chilling and serving Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to set. Before serving, decorate with fruit, grated chocolate or chopped nuts.
