Preparation procedure
- 1. Preparing the batter: Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat the egg whites into stiff peaks. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until the mixture becomes glossy. Then add the yolks and gently fold in. Finally add the chocolate cream powder and mix the batter well again. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 15–20 minutes (or until a skewer inserted comes out clean).
- 2. Preparing the cream: Stir the vanilla cream powder into the milk and whisk with a hand mixer until you obtain a smooth cream. Then add the whipping cream and continue whipping until the cream thickens.
- 3. Assembling the dessert: Spread the vanilla cream over the baked and cooled cake and let the slices set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- 4. Preparing the glaze: Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and mix it with the whipping cream until a smooth glaze forms. Pour the glaze over the prepared cake and spread it evenly. Put the slices back in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate glaze to set.
- 5. Cutting and serving: Once the glaze has hardened, cut the slices into squares and serve.
