Boží milosti are a popular treat for the festive table or simply with afternoon coffee. This recipe will give you crispy and delicious treats that the whole family will adore. You only need a few simple ingredients and a bit of patience when frying.

Preparation procedure
- Preparing the dough: Beat the whole eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Add the cream, vodka and mix. Mix the vinegar with the baking soda to create a fizzing mixture, and add it to the dough. Gradually add the flour until a smooth dough forms that doesn't stick to your hands.
- Shaping: Divide the dough into several parts. Roll each part into a thin sheet. Cut the sheet into strips 8–10 cm long and 3 cm wide. Make a longitudinal cut in the middle of each strip, leaving about 0.5 cm uncut on both edges. Thread one end of the strip through the resulting hole to form a bow shape.
- Frying: Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan until bubbles begin to form on the surface. Fry the bows in batches of 4–5 pieces until golden on all sides. Remove the finished cookies with a slotted ladle and let them drain on paper towels to remove excess fat.
- Finishing: Transfer the cookies to a plate and dust them with powdered sugar.
