  • Preparing the potatoes: Peel, wash and dry the potatoes. Make thin cuts in each potato with a sharp knife, but do not cut all the way through. This creates the so-called hasselback effect.
  • Baking: Place the potatoes in a baking dish and put a slice of butter on each. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C for approximately 35 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and lightly golden.
  • Adding the cheese: After 35 minutes of baking, sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese and return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes so the cheese forms a crispy golden crust.
  • Serving: Before serving, sprinkle the potatoes with chopped fresh parsley. You can serve them as a main dish or as a side with meats or salads.

Seasoning tip:

If you want to flavor the potatoes even more, you can add garlic, herbs or a spice mix to taste.
