Preparation procedure
- 1. Preparation of the coconut batter: Beat the egg whites and a pinch of salt into stiff peaks. Then add the sugar, coconut and flour. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 2. Preparation of the cocoa batter: Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Separate the yolks and the whites. To the yolks add salt and sugar, and then gradually add the flour and cocoa. Pour over the coconut batter.
- 3. Baking: Bake at 170 °C for about 20 minutes, until the batters are cooked through.
- 4. Preparation of the cream: In a medium saucepan, mix the yolks, sugar, flour and milk. Heat over low heat until the mixture thickens. Then remove from the heat and whisk the butter into the cooled cream.
- 5. Assembling the dessert: Layer the cream onto the baked layers and put in the refrigerator for an hour.
- 6. Preparation of the glaze: For the glaze, heat all the ingredients (chocolate, butter and milk) and stir until you obtain a smooth mixture. Then pour over the prepared dessert and smooth it out nicely.
