This simple dessert with a delicate vanilla cream and ground nuts is easy to prepare and its flavor is simply enchanting. An ideal sweet treat for an afternoon coffee that even a beginner can make.

Preparation procedure
- Preparing the batter: Beat the egg with the sugar until light and frothy. While stirring continuously, add the oil, milk, flour, ground nuts, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Mix everything well.
- Baking: Grease a baking pan (20 x 30 cm) with butter and dust with flour. Pour the prepared batter into the pan and bake at 180 °C for about 25 minutes, until the surface turns golden. Let cool.
- Preparing the cream: From the milk, sugar and vanilla pudding powder, cook a thick pudding and let it cool. Meanwhile whip the butter until fluffy and gradually beat in the cooled pudding until a smooth cream forms.
- Assembly: Spread the cooled cake base with the vanilla cream and spread evenly.
- Decoration: Finally sprinkle the dessert with grated chocolate, coconut or ground nuts. You can also decorate with whipped cream.
