Preparation procedure

  • Sponge:

    • 1.5 dl milk
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • pinch of salt
    • cube of fresh yeast
    • Oil for frying
    1. Add the yeast, sugar and a pinch of salt to lukewarm milk, stir, sprinkle with a little semi-coarse flour, stir and let it froth for 5–10 min.
    2. Sift the flour into a separate bowl, add the sponge, lukewarm milk, oil, baking soda, sour cream and mix.
    3. Finally add the salt as well, mix into a uniform dough and dust it with flour.
    4. Let it rise at room temperature for 15–20 minutes and then put it in the fridge to rise for 4–6 hours.
    5. With oiled hands, take pieces of dough and shape individual langoshes, which you then fry in oil on both sides as usual.
