Cucumbers – long (snake) cucumbers work excellently
granulated sugar
vinegar
salt
water
Canning jars – well washed

Optional:

dill

Preparation procedure

Use as many cucumbers as you want to make the salad. This recipe is for 5 cucumbers.
Wash the cucumbers, cut off the ends and you can peel them.
Grate the cucumbers on a coarse grater
Layer the cucumbers into the jars so that they are about 0,5-1 cm below the rim.
Top up with cold water and close the jar tightly.
Process at 80 °C for about 20–30 minutes.
Turn them upside down, let cool and store in a pantry.
