Today I present to you our favorite recipe for bublanina, which we make with quark and whatever fruit we have on hand. This quark bublanina is fantastically delicious, moist, and tastes so good that one piece will surely not be enough. It’s a great recipe for a quick and tasty dessert that you can prepare in no time!

Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the batter: First, whisk the eggs with the sugar in a bowl until frothy. Gradually add the liquid ingredients: milk and oil, and mix well. Finally add the dry ingredients: flour and baking powder. Beat into a smooth batter. Pour the batter onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Preparing the quark filling: Mix the quark with the egg and sweeten to taste with powdered sugar. If you want a smoother filling, add 1–2 tablespoons of sour cream. Using a spoon, spread the quark mixture evenly among the fruit on the batter.
