  • Soak the bread in milk, then squeeze out the excess liquid and mix it with the minced meat.
  • Add the eggs, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut 50g of hard cheese and the butter into small cubes.
  • Divide the minced meat mixture into 10-12 portions, shape them into smaller patties, place the butter and cheese in the center, and form the patties.
  • Fry them in oil for 2 minutes on each side. They don't have to be completely cooked.
  • Place the fried patties on a baking tray, pour in the oil from the frying pan, and you can also add a little water.
  • Place thin slices of tomatoes on top of them.
  • Grate the remaining cheese, sprinkle it over the meat, and finally spread mayonnaise on top.
  • Put into an oven preheated to 190 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
  • You can bake the patties directly in the oven without frying them in a pan. In that case, you will need to extend the baking time by 5-10 minutes.
