Forget store-bought cream! With this simple recipe you’ll make a delicious homemade cream that holds its shape better and doesn’t need stabilizers. Plus it’s cheaper and ready in no time.

Preparation procedure

  • Heating the milk: Heat the full-fat milk in a pot almost to a boil. Be careful, the milk must not boil so it doesn't burn.
  • Preparing the mixture: Cut the butter into smaller pieces and place it in a blender. Pour in the hot milk and blend for about 3 minutes, until a smooth mixture forms.
  • Cooling: Pour the mixture into a sealable bowl or container and let it cool overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Whipping the cream: The next day, whip the cooled mixture with a hand mixer like regular cream. The homemade cream will be nicely firm and fluffy even without using stabilizers.

Total preparation time:

  • Preparation: 10 minutes
  • Chilling: overnight (approx. 8–12 hours)
  • Whipping: 5 minutes

Number of servings:

  • Approximately 4 servings (300 ml of cream)
