Ingredients

Preparation procedure

  • Batter: Whisk the eggs with the sugar (amount to taste). Add the starch and stir until all lumps disappear. Pour in the milk and sunflower oil and mix well. Let the batter rest for about 15 minutes. Grease the pan with sunflower oil or a slice of bacon and fry the pancakes only on one side.
  • Filling: In a bowl, mix the quark, sugar and one egg. You can also add poppy seeds or raisins to taste.
  • Assembly and baking: Fill the pancakes with the quark mixture and wrap them as usual (e.g. roll them or fold them into a square). Place the pancakes into a baking dish or casserole. Spread sour cream and melted butter over each layer. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the pancakes are lightly golden.

This recipe is ideal for Sunday breakfasts, but also for family gatherings. Thanks to its delicate texture and sweet quark filling, it will become a favorite dessert not only with children but also with adults.
