- Preparing the meat: Wash the chicken breasts, pat dry and cut into slices. Pound them with a meat mallet and season with salt and pepper on both sides to taste.
- Preparing the batter: Grate the hard cheese coarsely. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and add the flour and grated cheese. Mix everything thoroughly until you get a thick batter.
- Frying the schnitzels: Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan. Dip each slice of meat into the cheesy batter so it is evenly coated, then immediately place it in the pan. Fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
- Serving: Let the finished schnitzels drain briefly on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve with your favorite side dish, for example mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes, fries, or a fresh vegetable salad.
