Ingredients

Preparation procedure

  • Dry ingredients In a bowl, mix the sifted all-purpose flour with 160 g granulated sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar and salt.
  • Dough Add the soft butter, egg and kefir. Use a hand mixer or whisk to work until a smooth and tender consistency.
  • Preparing the pan Line a round pan (Ø 24 cm) with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the center and spread evenly to the edges.
  • Fruit Pile the fruit on the surface of the batter and press it in lightly so it doesn't float out during baking.
  • Sprinkling Sprinkle the cake with the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, which will create a crispy crust.
  • Baking Place in an oven preheated to 180 °C and bake for 25 minutes. Check with a toothpick – it should come out clean.
  • Cooling Let the cake cool slightly in the pan for 15 minutes, then run a knife around the edges and turn it out onto a wire rack. Allow to cool completely before serving.
