It's best to soak the dates in water a day ahead and let them sit.
The next day, when they are plumped and softened, simply blend the dates with the water they were soaked in.
In a bowl, mix the oat flour, date paste and honey. Let it sit for a while so the flakes absorb moisture. Then from the mixture shape balls, coat them in ground nuts and make a hollow in the center. Into the hollow we will put melted chocolate, which we prepare in a water bath by mixing the butter, chocolate and milk.
Let the finished date 'eyes' rest and set in the refrigerator.
