  • For the starter:

    • ½ cube fresh yeast
    • 100 ml lukewarm milk
    • ½ teaspoon sugar
    1. First prepare the starter – crumble the yeast into the milk, add the sugar and wait for the starter to develop.
    2. In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, egg, the remaining milk and the starter as well.
    3. Knead into a smooth dough.
    4. Place the dough in the refrigerator where it will rise slowly – ideally let it rise overnight – then the langoše are best.
    5. Take smaller pieces of dough, which you stretch by hand into as thin rounds as possible.
    6. Fry in hot oil until golden brown – langoše are ready in no time, be careful not to burn them.
    7. Serve brushed with garlic, with sour cream, cheese or ketchup.
