For the starter:
- ½ cube fresh yeast
- 100 ml lukewarm milk
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- First prepare the starter – crumble the yeast into the milk, add the sugar and wait for the starter to develop.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, egg, the remaining milk and the starter as well.
- Knead into a smooth dough.
- Place the dough in the refrigerator where it will rise slowly – ideally let it rise overnight – then the langoše are best.
- Take smaller pieces of dough, which you stretch by hand into as thin rounds as possible.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown – langoše are ready in no time, be careful not to burn them.
- Serve brushed with garlic, with sour cream, cheese or ketchup.
