This fantastic recipe for baked garlic bread is an ideal savory treat for family celebrations, birthdays or holidays. It is quick, simple, and requires only a few ingredients that you probably have at home. Once you make it, your family will love it!

  • 1. Preparing the ingredients: First take the butter out of the refrigerator to soften at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
  • 2. Roasting the garlic: Clean the garlic and cut off a piece from the top so the individual cloves are visible. Place foil on a baking sheet, brush it with olive oil, and put the garlic on it. Bake for about 50 minutes at 170 °C. The garlic will soften during baking and develop a different, delicious flavor.
  • 3. Preparing the mixture: After baking, let the garlic cool. Then peel the garlic, chop it finely and mix it with the grated cheese, butter and chopped parsley. If needed, season with a pinch of salt.
  • 4. Preparing the bread: Slice the bread and spread the prepared mixture on each piece.
  • 5. Baking the bread: Place the prepared bread on a greased baking sheet and bake for 3–4 minutes at 240 °C. If you have a grill/broiler function, use it — the bread will brown better and gain a delicious flavor.
