- Batter preparation: In a bowl, mix the eggs, sour cream, mustard, finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper. The batter should have a thicker consistency, which will give the breads a richer flavor.
- Coating the bread: Thoroughly coat each slice of bread in the prepared batter so that the batter adheres evenly to both sides. Place the coated slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent burning.
- Creating the layer: On the baking sheet with the first slice of bread, place 2 slices of cheese and on top of them 2 slices of salami. Continue with the second coated slice of bread.
- Baking: Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Before putting the bread into the oven, sprinkle the top with grated cheese. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10–15 minutes, until the bread acquires a nice golden color.
- Serving: Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a moment. Then slice and serve on a plate.
