This quick jam „Three-minute“ allows you to have a jar of homemade marmalade in no time. Thanks to gelatin or pectin you’ll achieve perfect consistency without long cooking. It’s great on bread, in yogurt and for baking.

Preparation procedure

  • Preparation of fruit Wash the fruit and let drain. For a smoother jam, puree or mash part of it.
  • Maceration with sugar In a pot, mix the fruit with the sugar, let sit for 5 minutes until the fruit releases its juice.
  • Cooking Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. As soon as it bubbles, reduce the heat.
  • Adding the gelatin Prepare the gelatin according to the instructions (lukewarm water), stir into the jam and cook for exactly 3 minutes.
  • Filling the jars Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, close tightly, turn upside down and let cool. The lids will seal by themselves.
