Preparation procedure
- Preparing the batter: Whip the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the flour with the baking powder. Pour the batter onto a greased baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about 15 minutes. Let cool.
- Vanilla cream: Make the pudding from the milk, sugar and pudding powders and let it cool. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar and gradually add the cooled pudding to form a smooth cream. Whip the cream with powdered sugar and Smetafix to a stiff consistency and gently fold it into the vanilla cream. Store the cream in the refrigerator.
- Egg yolk cream: In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar, flour and vanilla sugar with the milk. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens, then let it cool. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar and gradually add the cooled cream in portions to form a smooth cream.
- Assembling the dessert: Spread the egg yolk cream over the cooled batter first and smooth it nicely. Carefully layer the vanilla cream on top of the egg yolk cream. You can decorate the top according to your imagination.
