  • Preparing the dough: In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, yeast, salt and water. Mix thoroughly and work into a uniform dough that should be smooth and elastic.
  • Dough rising: Divide the dough into two loaves weighing 400 g each. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes, until it has increased in size.
  • Preparing the pan: Meanwhile, prepare a pan by greasing it with a little oil. Place the dough in the pan and bake covered over medium heat for approximately 12-15 minutes.
  • Turning the bread: After the first side is baked, brush the top of the bread with oil and flip the bread using a plate. Continue baking covered on the other side until it is nicely golden.
  • Finishing: When the bread is nicely browned on both sides, remove the lid and let it bake a little longer so the crust becomes nicely crispy.
  • Serving: Let the finished loaf cool for a while and then slice it. Serve as a side to dishes or as a standalone meal.
