Ingredients

Base:

120 g butter
400 g butter biscuits

Filling:

100 g sugar
150 g strawberries
120 ml whipping cream
250 g mascarpone

Preparation procedure

Preparing the base: Melt the butter and mix it with the crushed biscuits. Mix the mixture and divide it into two halves.
Forming the base: Press the first half of the biscuit dough onto the bottom and sides of a cake pan. Put the pan in the refrigerator and let the base rest.
Prepare the cream: Whip the whipping cream to a stiff consistency. In another bowl, whip the mascarpone with the sugar, then combine both mixtures and add the chopped strawberries.
Finishing the cake: Layer the cream onto the chilled base in the cake pan. Crumble or grate the second half of the biscuit dough on top.
Chilling: Serve the cake well chilled. For a better appearance, you can dust it with powdered sugar.
