Preparation procedure

    1. Warm the milk, add a teaspoon of sugar and the yeast. Let the starter rise.
    2. Mix the semi-coarse and plain flour in a bowl, add salt, baking powder, olive oil, crushed garlic and the starter.
    3. Stir, add 100 ml warm water and work into a loose dough, which we sprinkle with plain flour and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
    4. Then take smaller pieces from the dough, sufficiently dust them with plain flour and work by hand into a firmer dough and shape into a thinner roll.
    5. Wrap the edge around the skewer onto which we have alternately threaded green and black olives, wrapping the dough up to the top.
    6. Place the skewered sticks on a baking tray lined with paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until golden.
    7. Before baking don't forget to brush the top of the dough with beaten yolk and you can also sprinkle seeds or coarse salt.
    8. Instead of olives you can also use sun-dried tomatoes.
