Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the batter In a bowl combine the quark, yolks, sugar and baking powder. Gradually add milk and sprinkle in flour until you get a thicker pancake batter. Finally gently fold in the beaten egg whites. You can enrich half of the batter with pieces of fruit.
  • Frying the amoletky Heat ghee in a pan and fry the amoletky until golden on both sides. Spread the batter like for pancakes, but the amoletky will be a bit thicker.
  • Filling and serving Variant 1 – nutty: Spread the finished amoletky with the spread, roll them up or fold them in half and serve immediately. Variant 2 – fruity with quark: Fry the batter with fruit the same way, after cooking spread with sweetened quark and garnish with fruit.
