Preparation procedure

  • Dough preparation: Whisk the eggs with the sugar until foamy. Gradually stir in the oil and then the flour mixed with the cocoa and baking soda. Pour the finished batter onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 15 minutes. Let cool.
  • Cream: Beat the softened butter with the vanilla sugar and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the quark and mix thoroughly to form a smooth cream. Spread it over the cooled base.
  • Peach layer: Evenly arrange the sliced peaches over the cream.
  • Jelly: From the 500 ml of peach juice and 500 ml of water, set aside about 100 ml and dissolve the jelly in it. Heat the remaining liquid. Once it is lukewarm, stir in the prepared jelly and heat, stirring constantly, until it is completely dissolved. Let it cool slightly. As soon as the jelly begins to thicken slightly, pour it over the layer of peaches. Chill the cake for at least 2–3 hours.
