Preparation procedure
- Preparing the dough: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dough – flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, oil, cocoa, salt and eggs. Mix thoroughly until a smooth batter forms. Pour it onto a greased and floured baking sheet with higher sides.
- Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 150 °C for about 30 minutes, until the batter is done.
- Preparing the cream: While the batter is baking, prepare the cream. In a saucepan, mix the yogurt with the water, add the powdered vanilla pudding and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it forms a thick custard. Let the custard cool.
- Finishing the cream: Fold the butter whipped with powdered sugar to taste into the cooled pudding mixture. Spread the finished cream over the cooled baked base.
- Chilling and decorating: Let the cake set in the refrigerator and sprinkle it with chocolate shavings before serving.
