If you’re a fan of ice cream, try this great recipe for homemade ice cream that is healthier and contains no artificial additives, cheap hydrogenated fats or sugar. This ice cream is simple to prepare and holds its shape perfectly!

Preparation procedure
- Preparing the cream: Whip the cream to stiff peaks together with the stabilizer. Whisk the quark, honey and vanilla extract into the whipped cream. If you like chocolate, you can also add chopped dark chocolate.
- Creating the layer: On a smaller baking tray lined with butter cookies (use about 9 cookies for the bottom) spread the prepared cream. Place the remaining cookies on top.
- Freezing: Place the tray in the freezer and let it set (ideally for several hours, preferably overnight).
- Serving: When portioning the ice cream, use a hot knife for easy cutting. Instead of cookies you can also use cake wafers.
