Forget the store-bought Monte dessert! This homemade recipe is incredibly delicious, easy to prepare, and will cost you only a few crowns. It will delight not only children but also adults.

Preparation procedure

  • Dark cream: Heat 400 ml of milk over medium heat, add the powdered sugar and the broken cooking chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts. Whisk the pudding powder into the remaining 100 ml of milk. Pour it into the mixture on the heat and, stirring constantly, cook until the cream thickens. Add the ground hazelnuts and cook briefly. Then let the mixture cool. Finally whip the butter and fold it into the cooled pudding cream.
  • White cream: Mix the sour cream with the vanilla sugar. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Assembling the dessert: Place the light cream at the bottom of jars or glasses, then the dark cream and again the light cream. Repeat this until the glass is full. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours.

Tip: You can decorate the dessert with grated chocolate, hazelnuts, or whipped cream. Thanks to its simplicity and great taste, this homemade Monte dessert will become a favorite treat of your family.
