- Preparing the milk: Pour the milk into a pot and bring it to a boil. As soon as the milk starts to boil, remove the pot from the stove and let it cool for a while until it reaches about 30 °C.
- Adding the sour cream: Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream to the slightly cooled milk. Stir thoroughly so that the cream is well incorporated into the milk.
- Fermentation: Cover the pot with a cloth and leave it in a warm place, ideally at room temperature, for 24 hours.
- Tasting: After 24 hours your homemade yogurt is ready to taste. To suit your taste you can sweeten the yogurt or add fruit, nuts, or other sweeteners.
