This baked cauliflower with chicken meets all those requirements – it’s easy to prepare, light yet satisfying thanks to the combination of vegetables, chicken, and cheese. Try this simple recipe and enjoy a great dish without having to stand by a hot oven for a long time.

Preparation procedure
- Parboiling the cauliflower and meat: Cook the cauliflower in salted water for 10 minutes. After cooking, drain it and cut into smaller pieces. Cook the chicken in salted water and, after it cools, cut into small cubes.
- Preparing the vegetables: Slice the onion thinly and the tomatoes into rounds. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
- Preparing the cream mixture: Mix the sour cream with beaten eggs, pressed garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Assembling the layered dish: Grease the baking tray with butter. Place a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom of the tray. Put a layer of chicken on the potatoes, then a layer of onion, cauliflower, and finally tomatoes. Pour the prepared cream mixture over and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Baking: Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 30 minutes, until the surface is golden.
- Finishing: After baking, garnish the dish with fresh parsley and serve.
