Forget classic fries and try roasted carrots with garlic and Parmesan! This crispy and delicious side dish is not only healthier, but also incredibly tasty. Just cut it, season it and bake it – the result will pleasantly surprise you!

Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the carrots Peel, wash and dry the carrots. Cut them into 3–4 larger pieces and put them into a bowl. Add olive oil, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • Roasting the carrots Spread the prepared carrots evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 °C.
  • Preparing the garlic mixture Finely chop the garlic (or use dried). Mix it with the Parmesan and breadcrumbs, creating a tasty crumb topping.
  • Seasoning and final baking After 20 minutes, take the carrots out of the oven, sprinkle with the garlic mixture, stir and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Then stir once more and bake for the final 10 minutes, until the carrots are nicely golden and crispy.
  • Serving Transfer the finished carrots to a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately while they are nicely crispy.
