- At the start, prepare all the ingredients because you must proceed quickly.
- Grate the potatoes on the coarse side of a grater along with the carrot.
- Slice the onion into rings.
- Preheat a pan, melt the butter and then add the onion. You don't need to fry the onion for too long — a few minutes is enough. Don't forget to stir it constantly.
- Add the carrot and sauté it lightly.
- When the carrot is softer, add the potatoes.
- Keep stirring.
- Finally add the paprika, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar and mix everything thoroughly.
- After mixing, cover the pan and let it simmer for approximately 5–10 minutes.
- The firmer potatoes will soften in that time and you can then serve the dish!
- To improve the taste you can sprinkle with cheese or prepare a vegetable salad.
