Preparation procedure
- Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and add about 6 tablespoons of flour.
- Mix the dough well and let it rise for about 30 minutes in a warm place.
- Beat the room-temperature eggs with a pinch of salt and gradually add them to the risen dough.
- Add the remaining flour and the oil, and, if necessary, lukewarm water; knead the dough so that it doesn't stick to your fingers in the end.
- Let it rise for another half hour.
- Grease your work surface with oil, not flour, and shape smaller mounds from the dough.
- They don't have to have any precise shape; it's enough to place them about 2 to 3 centimeters apart.
- Cover the baking sheet or work surface with a cloth and let them rise for another 15 minutes.
- While waiting, you can prepare various fillings — nut, poppy seed, chocolate, vanilla, custard, or plum jam.
- How you proceed next depends on the chosen method of preparation.
- You can bake the buns in the oven, or fry them in oil, similar to doughnuts.
- I baked the buns in the oven at 180 degrees and they baked for approximately 30 minutes.
