  • Preparation of the cream: Whip the whipping cream with the stabilizer until stiff. In another bowl beat together the quark, sour cream, sugar and Olé pudding. Gently fold the two mixtures together into a smooth cream.
  • Assembling the cake: Place the prepared base or sponge biscuits on the bottom of the cake form. Line the sides of the form vertically with sponge biscuits. Spread part of the cream over the bottom layer. Top with fruit, then more biscuits and cream again. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up.
  • Finishing: Decorate the surface of the cake with fruit to taste. For effect and flavor, we can pour gelatin over it. Let the cake set in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours, ideally overnight.
