Preparation procedure

  • Meatloaf: Soak the roll in milk, then squeeze it out and crumble it. In a bowl, mix the meat, roll, egg, cream, mustard, garlic, herbs and spices. Knead everything thoroughly with your hands. Shape into a loaf and wrap it with bacon. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 60–75 minutes.
  • Mashed potatoes: Peel the potatoes, cut them and cook in salted water until tender. After draining, add the butter and warmed milk. Mash with a potato masher until smooth.
  • Fried onions: Cut the onion into rings, coat in flour and fry until golden. After frying, let drain on a paper towel.
